Refund & Cancellation Policy

GoPayNag provides independent milestone escrow and deliverable release infrastructure between creative professionals and their clients. Our policies are designed to maintain mutual transparency and fair protection.

1. GoPayNag Platform Subscriptions

• Cancellation: Subscriptions ($19/mo standard or $9.50/mo founding tier) can be cancelled at any time through your designer dashboard or by emailing billing support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing cycle.
• 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee: New subscribers may request a full refund within 14 days of initial charge if unsatisfied with the platform.
• Beta & Demo Phase: Simulated and mock transactions incur no real financial charges.

2. Client Invoices, Mid-Project Cancellations & Deposits

• Non-Refundable Deposits (Kill Fee): Upfront deposits (standard 50% or custom invoice percentage) are strictly non-refundable once creative design work has commenced. This deposit compensates the designer for preliminary research, exploration, draft sketches, and dedicated calendar reservation.
• Cancellation Midway: If a client elects to terminate a project prior to completion, they are not charged for any remaining unbilled balances. The designer retains the deposit as an agreed kill fee for work already performed. Unused master files and draft concepts remain the intellectual property of the designer and cannot be used commercially.
• Deliverable Balances & Designer Non-Delivery: Balance payments unlock final high-resolution deliverable source files. In the unlikely event that a designer fails to supply agreed master deliverables following balance payment, clients are entitled to a full refund of the balance portion.

3. Dispute Resolution & Timeline

Clients and designers are encouraged to resolve project scope adjustments amicably. If assistance is required, dispute escalations are acknowledged within 24 hours and addressed within 5 business days.

4. Refund Method & Processing Time

Approved refunds are returned directly to the original payment method (card or bank settlement via Stripe). Processing typically settles within 5 to 7 business days depending on your issuing financial institution.
